Our Story

The Guerriero Project was born from the real life of a child with a terminally ill parent.

Our Story

The Guerriero Project was created by Samantha Guerriero, known as professional wrestler Terra Calaway. When her husband, Jeff "Cannonball" Guerriero, was diagnosed with ALS / Lou Gehrig's disease in 2025 she found herself in waters she never imagined she'd have to navigate.

Focusing all her attention to taking care of her terminally ill husband, she found herself struggling to be both a full time nurse and a full time parent. Things would be forgotten, stress was at an all time high, and she found resources for dealing with a terminally ill spouse and toddler lacking.

Samantha wrote two children's books, one to immortalize her husband and the other to help children of young ages understand ALS, and it fueled her passion to continue helping children placed in the same situation her own son was forced into.  Thus, The Guerriero Project was born.

What We Believe

Every Child Matters

No child should feel invisible because of their family's circumstances. Every child deserves to feel celebrated and supported.

Normalcy Is a Gift

A backpack, a birthday present, a warm coat... these aren't luxuries. They're anchors of normalcy in an otherwise turbulent time.

Community Heals

We believe in the power of community to wrap around families in need. Together, we can carry what no one should carry alone.

Dignity Always

Every family we serve is treated with the utmost dignity and respect. We are here to support, never to judge.

Join Us in Making a Difference

Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply spread the word, you become part of something that truly changes lives.
